Ceilings: Changing Skies |

The use of indirect lighting in ceiling illumination to echo the natural look of the sky or ceiling elements is
predominantly aimed at creating a uniform, low shadow and glare-free light atmosphere. The sole use of this type of lighting is generally not recommended
since it creates a monotonous impression as a result of the unfavourable contrast between the relatively dark area of use and the bright ceiling. However, as a component
of the lighting solution that is used in combination with direct beam elements, it is particular effective in creating a balanced relationship
between light and shadow and creates an open, friendly impression of the room. |
