Where illumination is to be combined with mobility and the flexible utilisation
of room, direct-indirect radiating pendant or floor-standing luminaires should be employed. Particularly in the case of large surfaces this is the only
possibility of completely illuminating ceilings homogeneously. The nearer the ceiling is to the luminaires, the lower the consistency of light and the
higher the zonal occurrence of radiant intensity. A distance between the luminaire and ceiling of 60 cm can be taken as the mean value.
