Floors and Tables: Reliable Perception |
| |
The lighting of horizontal areas is the basic requirement for reliable
perception. The main task is the general and uniform lighting of the room by means of broad-beam luminaires, whereby sufficient
illuminance of the floor forms the basis for safe recognition and movement within the room. Thus, for example, training rooms require
uniform and good, glare-free light. The illumination of horizontal areas that are directly relevant to a specific task, such as meeting tables, counters
or podiums, often requires a more prominent and more exciting accent. These "brighter" areas in the room also refer to active zones. |
