Savings all Round
The costs of lighting systems
can be considerably reduced
by means of good planning and
high-quality luminaires with
energy-saving light sources.
In addition to the initial costs,
energy and maintenance costs
are becoming increasingly
important. Furthermore, with
regard to periodic relocation
costs, the use of mobile and
variable luminaires will, in future,
have to be taken into account
for new and flexible office
landscapes in particular.
However, the greatest potential
is to be found in the
improvement in light quality. Its
positive influence on human
efficiency and motivation is
reflected in the personnel costs
which, at 90%, make up by far
the most significant proportion
of the building costs. Good
light increases our sense of
satisfaction and thus also our
efficiency.
Divided Investment
The latest WILA economy
features derive their benefit from
the separation of electrical
connection, ceiling adaptation
and actual luminaire insert. Thus,
investments can not only be
staggered (payment on use)
but also separated (electrical
installation and ceiling
framework assembly paid by
investor / luminaire inserts paid
by tenant).
Installation Advantage
The luminaire inserts from the
E Connect 2M product family
can be installed at a relatively
late stage of interior completion
since the electrical connection
via connector and the mounting
of the ceiling system ring is
completed in advance. This
prevents damage, theft and
soiling during the building stage
and thus facilitates acceptance.
Additional to the lighting system
it can be quickly and individually
adapted to any room use
without having to carry out
electrical installation work. This
is particularly advantageous if
plans are modified when the
building has already been
occupied. Furthermore, by
quickly removing the luminaire
insert, a procedure that does
not require the use of tools,
the luminaires can be used
simultaneously as inspection
hatches.
Measurable Control of Energy
The E Control sensor system
reduces costs by making
greater use of daylight.
Whether measuring simply the
brightness or determining both
brightness and presence, only
as much artificial light as strictly
necessary should be used.
This is workplace-related via
the E Control Uno and Duo
control units integrated into
the luminaire, or room-related
via the E Control Quattro.
Energy Savings as Standard
A lower energy consumption
of up to 25% and an increase
in service life by 30% are just
two of the advantages of using
WILA luminaires with electronic
ballasts and state-of-the-art
lamps as standard. The optional
use of multilamp EB´s for linear
fluorescent lamps of type T16
FQ and FH means it is possible
to change the wattage of
pendant luminaires of the same
length in order to meet the
requirements of the new layout.
Dismantling not only saves
costs, it also equips the lighting
system for the future.
Efficient Reflectance
The demand for maximum
efficiency with minimum
dimensions is at the centre
of the WILA technology
philosophy for effective
photometric components such
as reflectors, radial mirror
systems and directional
prismatic light elements. Thus,
only 99.98 pure aluminium,
burnished and anodised, is
used for compact luminaires and
only high-reflectance aluminium
in MIRO quality is used for linear
office luminaires. Whenever
space is extremely restricted with
the smallest known compact
luminaire, the highly reflective
WhitestarTM is used. Result:
efficiency increases of up to
20%. |
